The GreenMan
The GreenMan is a towering natural stone mosaic located in the taproom of Asheville, North Carolina’s Green Man Brewery. The mosaic is 20 feet tall and 16 feet wide, and features stones from throughout the region. Adapted from the craft brewer’s logo, the GreenMan greets guests as they arrive to the facility on Buxton Avenue in downtown Asheville.
The mosaic was cut by hand and assembled at our shop before installation. The interplay of color and texture between the stones creates a depth to the piece that is best appreciated firsthand. It’ll be the first thing you see when you visit!
In 2017, the Society of American Mosaic Artists (SAMA) recognized ‘The GreenMan’ as part of the Mosaic Arts International Exhibition in the Site Specific category.
