This drystone patio is made of a blend of stones local to the mountains of North Carolina. Stone dust is swept into the joints to solidify the surface. I completed this project while employed by the Unturned Stone, Inc.
This walkway is built of reclaimed material found by the homeowner and myself. A slate roof tile, broken and stacked on edge (and mashed down to soften sharp edges) adds an interesting texture to the piece.
